Confidence in the Future with BSFF?

Can I use BSFF to treat something that will happen in the future, such as anxiety about a presentation I have to give soon? Will BSFF program the subconscious to give me more confidence at this upcoming event?—Frank in Sacramento, CA
Don Elium: Be Set Free Fast can certainly help you face your upcoming presentation with more ease and confidence. However, before introducing a new thought about yourself into the subconscious, like “I have confidence about this”, for example, you must first attend to your old, already existing subconscious programming, such as “I have no confidence about this.” Failing to deal with the old belief is like putting new carpeting over a very old smelly carpet. Eventually, the old programming is going to surface, adding more complications to your process.
Rather than creating more conflict by programming a new layer over the old, BSFF is designed to neutralize the old, making space for a free and flexible choice right now. This is the beauty of BSFF. Your awareness and attention are now free to do what you need to do to prepare well, such as organizing your notes, practicing your delivery, asking for feedback to improve the areas that are weak or unclear, and so on.
The freedom of BSFF is not in re-programming, but in deactivating ANY existing programming. The goal is to show up as your authentic best, to be free of all things that interfere with your presentation, and to be able to adjust as the situation demands, unhampered by any old, programmed reactions.

To most effectively deal with the present anxiety about lack of confidence in a future presentation, bring your focus of attention to how you feel right now about the upcoming event. Bring the upcoming presentation into your awareness.
•What emotion arises when you think about this event right now? Treat those troubling emotions with BSFF until they no longer preoccupy your attention and awareness right now.
•What troubling thoughts emerge in your awareness about this event right now? Treat those beliefs with BSFF until they no longer preoccupy your attention and awareness right now.
•What troubling physical reactions emerge in your awareness about the event right now? Treat the felt-sense of those physical reactions with BSFF until they no longer preoccupy your attention and awareness right now.
•Again, bring the upcoming event into your awareness. What is in your awareness right now about that event? Treat any remaining troubling emotion, thought, and physical reaction that emerge into your awareness with BSFF until they no longer preoccupy your attention and awareness right now.
Now, bring your future presentation clearly into your mind. Be aware of any reactions. If you now feel calm and quiet, stop here. If you have more reactions, however, keep treating them until you feel calm and quiet. If you do experience more reactions, determine where they are coming from: Do you need to learn something new? To practice more? To add or subtract content? Using BSFF you can calm your responses throughout the process of preparation, whenever a reaction arises.

When your big event has arrived, and you are in the middle of your presentation, more reactions may occur. Remember that relief is just a Cue Word away. Right then. Right there.

Can I learn BSFF on my own
Dear Larry,
Do you think I could learn this on my own without going to your office or having a phone session? I am a single mom with very limited financial resources and am interested in what BSFF can do for me. Basically, I have had problems with depression and also struggle with compulsive overeating. With a lot of effort on my part, do you think I could learn BSFF by myself? Please let me know. Thank you.
